To design a t-shirt for a giveaway at a science event

This giveaway was for Pittcon, a dynamic, transnational conference and exposition on laboratory science. It was created to help promote Lab Manager at the conference, and was held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In order to receive a free t-shirt at their booth, you had to complete a quiz, hence the name. That quiz paid homage to Philly's famous cheesesteak sandwiches. Below is the design process and evolution of the logo.

The company wanted to explore some ideas on some employee merchandise. The logo represents the small islands situation by the water in the area. It's design was to develop a less corporate looking piece to wear while having that friendly, "hand made" feel. The lettering was done by hand using Procreate, and then edited in Photoshop.

This t-shirt was designed utilizing my hand lettering techniques. We came up with the slogan to really represent the pride of growing a beard. It stands true to the brand. By using their product and following the beard grooming lifestyle, you can achieve great results.
